Android · Android TV · Fire Stick · PC — Updated September 2026 · Takes 5 minutes
This is the simplest and fastest method. The entire process takes less than 5 minutes on any Android phone running version 5.0 (Lollipop) or higher — including Redmi, Realme, Samsung, OnePlus, Vivo, OPPO, and all other Android brands.
Go to downloadveduapk.com/download on your Android browser (Chrome, Firefox, or your default browser). Tap the green "Download Vedu APK" button. The 18 MB file will start downloading. You will see a download notification at the top of your screen.
Since Vedu APK is not from the Google Play Store, you need to allow Android to install apps from other sources. Here's how to do it based on your Android version:
Android 8.0 and above (most modern phones):
When you try to open the APK file, Android will ask "Do you want to allow this app to install other apps?" — tap Settings and toggle Allow from this source ON. Then tap the back button and try opening the file again.
Android 7.0 and below (older phones):
Go to Settings → Security → Unknown Sources and toggle it ON. Tap OK on the warning message.
Tap the download notification, OR open your File Manager app → go to the Downloads folder → find the file named Vedu_v1.0.22.apk and tap it to open.
Android will show you a screen with the app permissions. Review them, then tap Install at the bottom right. The installation takes about 10–15 seconds. Do not close the screen during this time.
Once installed, tap Open on the installation screen, or find the Vedu icon in your app drawer. Browse by category or search for your favourite movie. Tap Play and enjoy free HD streaming!
Vedu APK works great on Android TV boxes, Mi Box S, Mi TV Stick, Nvidia Shield, and any Android TV device. There are two ways to install it — via a USB drive or directly through the TV's browser.
Download the Vedu APK file from our download page onto your phone or computer.
Copy the Vedu APK file to a USB flash drive. Plug the USB drive into your Android TV box.
On your Android TV: Settings → Device Preferences → Security & Restrictions → Unknown Sources → Enable for your file manager app.
Open the File Manager on your Android TV. Navigate to the USB drive. Find and select the Vedu APK file. Tap Install and confirm.
Find Vedu in your TV's app list and open it. The interface is designed for TV remote control — use arrow keys to navigate, OK to select.
Use the built-in browser (usually "Chromium" or "Silk"). Navigate to downloadveduapk.com.
Tap the Download button. The APK will download to your TV's storage.
Open Files app on your TV, navigate to Downloads, and run the APK file to install.
Amazon Fire TV Stick runs a modified version of Android, so Vedu APK works on it. The easiest way is using the free Downloader app.
On your Fire Stick, go to Find → Search and type "Downloader". Install the free Downloader app by AFTVnews (orange icon).
Go to Settings → My Fire TV → Developer Options → Install Unknown Apps → Select "Downloader" → set to ON.
Open the Downloader app. In the URL box, type: downloadveduapk.com/download and press Go. The site will open in the app's browser.
Tap the Download button on the page. The APK file will download automatically. When done, Downloader will prompt you to install it.
Tap "Install" when prompted. After installation, delete the APK file (saves storage) and open Vedu from your Fire Stick home screen or apps list.
Vedu APK is an Android app, so you need an Android emulator to run it on your Windows or Mac computer. We recommend BlueStacks 5 — it's free, safe, and runs Android apps smoothly on most PCs.
Go to bluestacks.com and download the free BlueStacks installer for Windows or Mac. The file is about 500 MB.
Run the BlueStacks installer. Follow the on-screen setup. When finished, BlueStacks will open with an Android-like interface on your PC.
Open your regular browser and go to downloadveduapk.com/download. Download the Vedu APK file to your PC's Downloads folder.
Double-click the Vedu APK file. BlueStacks will automatically detect it and show an install prompt inside the emulator. Click Install.
After installation, Vedu will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click it to open and start streaming on your large PC screen!
